At least three early tea services are known which depict scenes from a satirical story of the adventures of an unfaithful wife whilst her husband is on campaign. They follow a set of engravings by Albrecht Schmidt (1667-1744) some of which gave been recently published by Dr. Claudia Bodinek.
Here, a perhaps over familiar physician attends to the wayward wife, innocence feeing from Eden might be depicted on the wall behind. The inventiveness and wit suggest the hand of Johann Gregorius Höroldt
